Q - What makes the Chronicles of Tov series special?
A - The Chronicles of Tov is a series written for the coming of age Christian child. Bookshelves are overflowing with books about witches, wizards, demigods, monsters, and other topics that the Bible clearly calls evil and there are so very few books written for the Christian tween in the action/adventure/fantasy genres. We believe there is a serious need in the book world for books that hold Christian values in high-esteem, call good good and evil evil and yet give kids that feeling of adventure that is relevant to them today.
Q - So, this book series is written for Christians only?
A - No, absolutely not, the story of Tov is written allegorically. It can be enjoyed by anyone who wants an exciting story with good moral lessons. They'll see kids living out the Golden Rule and at times learning that breaking the commands given them have real consequences. They'll see engaged fathers and mothers who are strong, vibrant, devoted, and most of all involved in their children's lives. For this series, children and parents who want a deeper understanding of the Biblical principles or an explanation of the allegory, they can go to our website.
Q. How many books will there be in the Chronicles of Tov series?
A. The Chronicles of Tov is an epic fantasy series. The short answer is we don't know. The long answer Edge & Lira is currently a stand-alone adventure, but coming hot on its heels is the first book of the upcoming Forge series. That series is slated for 8 books. But Edge & Lira and Forge are set in a relatively short period of time in the world of Tov. We anticipate several more series that span the entire life of Tov.
Q - Is there anything else you'd like to share with your readers about this new series?
A - The Chronicles of Tov is a fast-paced, action-packed, thrill-ride adventure that blends great storytelling with moral lessons set in a fantasy world, filled with strange creatures, amazing locations, dynamic protagonists, steampunk and science fiction elements, and good, clean fun.

We ordered both books and received them in just two days. Our 14-yr-old daughter devoured both of them before she went to sleep. Her initial feedback is: they are really good books, she wouldn't change anything, and she can't wait to read the next one! She particularly likes the fact that you weave in biblical concepts and ideas without making it preachy so that anybody would want to read it and they are getting Truth without necessarily realizing it. She also likes the way you portray the parents as involved and in a positive light. After our daughter's rave review, we decided to read them aloud to the whole family and now our 11-yr-old son is hooked! My wife and I are hooked too! Finally a book with a fictional storytelling with real world truths
The first peak into The Chronicles of Tov is promising. I enjoyed meeting Edge & Lira and the anticipation of what is about to unfold in the Chronicles left me hoping I don't have to wait long!
An action packed story that will keep young readers turning the pages and looking for the next book.
enjoyed the idea of technology as both a blessing and a curse... liked the two characters...easy read...bought four books to give to my nephews and nieces for Christmas...enjoyable and thought-provoking !!!
If the following books in this series live up to this introductory tale - and there's every reason to believe they will - this could be a real hit with young readers. This is adventure in a post-Apocalyptic world, complete with mutant, fantastical animals that will tear humans limb from limb or bond with and bear them if captured, spun at a fast pace. I enjoyed this first story. More importantly, my nine-yaer-old grandson really did, too.
A delightful adventure about 12 year olds. The native predators are called cheetah-tops and are enormous but timetable. Fun read!
I know that the book is geared for young teenagers, but it’s really engaging!!! Looking forward to more, on to the next book!
